Childhood obesity is increasing, and maintaining regular physical activity and consuming a healthy diet have become essential tools to combat this condition. Concurrently, young people are significantly impacted by the rapid global rise of sedentary lifestyles and suboptimal dietary patterns during crucial stages of development. Regrettably, the cumulative effects of unhealthy behaviors during the formative years predispose young people to the early stages of several chronic conditions, including obesity. This paper will highlight approaches and recommendations to improve eating and activity behaviors of children and adolescents in Indonesia
