5. Transmitting Knowledges: Institutions, Objects and Practices
Knowledge transfer in the era of social media is a critical process for professional knowledge workers. Social media platforms play a significant role in facilitating knowledge sharing among individuals and organizations. The importance of personal relationships in transferring knowledge through social media is highlighted, emphasizing the role of social connections in effective knowledge transfer. Overall, social media platforms offer strengths such as reach, richness, and availability for knowledge sharing, but weaknesses like confidentiality and depth should be considered. Moreover, the transfer of knowledge in the world of higher education based on zettelkasten principles will inspire how the relations between lecturers and students should be in modern classes. The principle of cultivating critical ideas and the spirit of always developing information is a spirit that should continue to be studied and explored as an alternative approach that protects expertise. Zettelkasten has an orientation towards building knowledge networks by collecting and/or writing simple notes, which are stored in the memory system, then the collection of small notes is managed to be constructed into new knowledge. Ultimately resulting in the development of new ideas and arguments.
