C.R.Yadu is a socioeconomist based in Bangalore, India. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in Economics at RV University, Bangalore. For his PhD, he did a study on the changes in agriculture and labour in post-liberalisation India by closely examining the case of two villages in South India. He is proficient in empirically and theoretically grounded research using mixed methods. His main research interest is in studying the way capitalism unfolds in the rural/urban spaces in the global South and its distributional dynamics.
