Shambhawi Vikram is a Research Fellow at Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi. She is a PhD candidate and has received her MPhil degree from the Centre for Women's Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi) in 2019. Previously, as a Research Grantee for the Indian Association of Women's Studies, she studied the exacerbation of gendered disputes over land and resources in Jharkhand through processes and the nexus of capital and the juridical. Her current PhD research uses a political economy approach to the study of menstrual discourses in contemporary, neoliberal India. Her research interests include Gender & Sexuality, Gender & Development, Technology, Law, and Gender & Literary Forms.
