YANG Tian is a Ph.D. student in Cultural Studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her dissertation focuses on the contemporary art scene in the Pearl River Delta region in relation to the representation of Chineseness, Chinese culture, and Chinese modernity from the late 1990s to the early 2010s.
