Tuen Yi CHIU (Jenny) is Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology and Social Policy, Lingnan University, Hong Kong. She is a sociologist specializing in migration, gender, marriage and family, and ageing. She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore (2017-2018) and a visiting fellow at Harvard University (2014-2015). Her current research projects focus on migration and intergenerational care relations, transnational ageing, and cross-border marriages and families. As a qualitative researcher, she is interested in integrating in-depth interviews and visual methods in her recent studies. She has published articles in International Migration Review, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Population, Space and Place, Annals of the American Association of Geographers, Geoforum, Violence Against Women, Asia Pacific Viewpoint, and Citizenship Studies, among others.
