I am Dr. Bhanu Prakash Nunna. I am currently working as an Assistant Professor and Director, Centre for Victimological Research and Victim Assistance (CVRVA) at the School of Law, RV University. I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical psychology from Delhi University and Ph.D. in Victimology from O.P. Jindal Global University. I am a psychologist by training and I have over 10 years of experience in counseling teenagers, university students, geriatric population, and caregivers of the elderly. My research interests include Victimology, Victim Support, Sexual Victimization, Secondary Victimization, Victim Support Training, Ethics in Counseling and Victim Support.
I am currently the visiting faculty at the Department of Criminology and Police Sciences, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU), Bangladesh. I was previously the Guest Faculty at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), New Delhi. I am also a Member of the Standards and Norms Committee of the World Society of Victimology and the Executive Committee member of the International Society of Clinical Criminology. I am also the Course Co-director of the Bangladesh Postgraduate Course on Victimology, Victim Assistance and Criminal Justice and a Resource Faculty at the prestigious Postgraduate Courses on Victimology in Europe, Asia and Africa.
