Bubbles Beverly Asor is currently an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of the Philippines Diliman. She received her PhD in Sociology at the National University of Singapore in 2016. Her research interests include migration studies, sociology of religion, urban diversity, border studies, everyday life, international migration to South Korea and Philippine migration. She is also the current Special Issue Editor of HanPil: Studies in Korea and the Philippines and the Editor-in-Chief of the Philippine Sociological Review, the flagship journal of the Philippine Sociological Society. She also had teaching posts as Assistant Professor at the University of the Philippines Diliman, Dela Salle University Manila and University of the Philippines Los Baños.
