Neelashree Das Gupta has completed her Undergraduate and Post-graduation from Presidency University, Kolkata. She pursued her M.Phil from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati. Her research interest includes diasporic studies, minority communities and the social and cultural history of South Asia. Other Publications by her include a paper published as a chapter in an edited volume, Pondering the Past Glimpses of our Society and Culture Vol III, Pailock Kolkata, 2019, titled "Cultures of Food History in Colonial Bengal 1850-1900s"
