Leo Chu is a PhD student in History and Philosophy of Science at University of Cambridge. His project studies the interaction between plant breeders, ecologists, and social scientists in Cold War Taiwan and Southeast Asia, and how various ideas of diversity in food production facilitated the transformation of developmentalism into sustainable development.
