Erica M. Larson is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Religion and Globalisation Cluster at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore. She was awarded a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Boston University in 2019. Her research in Indonesia has focused on how varying ethical frameworks for religious coexistence are channeled through schools and negotiated by youth. She is also interested in the intersection between civic and religious values and how youth mobilize religious identity in relation to issues of corruption and development. She has been a Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Hanover College (USA) and a Visiting Researcher at the Center for the Study of Religion and Society at the University of Notre Dame.
