Ofita Purwani

Ofita Purwani is an associate professor at the Department of Architecture, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia. In 2014, she completed her PhD in architecture at the University of Edinburgh. She has won several fellowships, including the NUS South East Asia Fellowship in 2020, the Urban Studies Foundation International Fellowship in 2021-2022, and the LSE Saw Swee Hock South East Asia Centre Senior Visiting Fellowship in 2023. Her diverse research interests include spatial politics, monarchy, heritage, urban studies, invented tradition, and tourism.
