I am a Phd student at Department of Anthropology, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I am interested in urban anthropology and I completed some works on urban issues such as urban regeneration, urban space and politics. Currently I am working on the hydrosocial cycle of the river Brantas in Surabaya which combines altogether the issues of ecology, river and urban anthropology.
