Edmund W. Cheng is Associate Professor of the Department of Public Policy, Associate Director of Centre for Public Affairs and Law, and Director of the Political Analysis Lab at the City University of Hong Kong. His research interests include comparative politics, political sociology, political communication, research methods, Hong Kong politics, and Global China. His work has appeared in China Quarterly, China Journal, Information, Communication & Society, International Political Science Review, Political Studies, Mobilization, Sociological Methodology, among others. He holds a PhD in Government from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
