Natsuki Chubachi

Kyoto University, Japan

Natsuki Chubachi is a Ph.D. student at Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies Kyoto University, Japan. His work focuses on the Muslim intellectuals' behavior on climate and environmental issues. After writing a senior thesis on the precipitation in Sudan and then a master's thesis about the greening of mosques in Indonesia, he started two-year fieldwork in Indonesia to explore spiritual and material responses to environmental and climate change.
