Dr. Sreebitha PV teaches at the Department of Studies in English, Kannur University, Kerala.
Twelve years of teaching experience; prior to joining Kannur University, worked as
Assistant Professor at the Department of English, Central University of Karnataka,
Asst. Professor (Ad-hoc) at Shri Ram College of Commerce and Motilal Nehru College,
Delhi University. Her current research interests include Performance Studies,
Cultural Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, Caste and Race Studies, Film and Media
Studies and Migration Studies. She is the chief editor of Dialogist: International Journal of
Literary Studies and Interdisciplinary research.Her Ph D and M Phil was from the University
of Hyderabad. She was awarded short-term Papiya Ghosh Memorial Fund Fellowship of
CSSS, Kolkata. She was a short term fellow at Anveshi Women’s Studies Research Centre at
Hyderabad for the year 2006-2007. She is the recipient of Kerala Chalchitra Academy
Fellowship, 2020.
