Sih Natalia Sukmi is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social and Communication Sciences, Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana, Indonesia. Currently, she is Ph.D. candidate at Muséum national d’histoire naturelle (MNHN)-Sorbonne Alliance, France. She has worked in heritage, community, and communication. She is the book editor Human Origins Heritage: Exploring the Way toward a Scientific Participatory Program in Sangiran (2021). She is the author of Revealing Women Participation in Tourist Village Establishment (Journal of Social and Political Sciences, 2022); Networking with Communities and on Prehistoric Heritage (2021); Transformation of Communication of Women’s Movement in the New Media: Seeking Gender Justice in Surakarta and Yogyakarta (Jurnal Perempuan, 2016). She received fellowships and research grants from the United Boards, the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology of Indonesia, and the National Geographic. She is also the coordinator of Science Ensemble of MNHN-Sorbonne Université for Human Origins Heritage.
