Dominique Lämmli, https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7171-6263, is an artist and philosopher who approaches work in site- and situation-specific, collaborative, performance- and studio-based settings using rich media. She has over two decades' experience working with art in global and glocal settings. Dominique focuses on the pressure bearing on existing concepts surrounding art, including the dynamic interrelationship between art and society. Her PhD was awarded in Global Studies from Humboldt University of Berlin. She holds a lectureship at the Zurich University of the Arts, (co-)founded and leads FOA-FLUX and mAiA GmbH. Her most recent research has led to the development of a new, transformative research paradigm and to corresponding baseline discourses. The research paradigm, Art in Action Research (AiAR), introduces a paradigmatic shift in art studies and artistic research.
