He is passionate and actively involved in the promotion and conservation of Pulicat Lagoon since 2007 through his registered NGO -AARDE Foundation. The organisation is empowering more than 220 women through Palmyra Leaves Handicraft. AARDE is an Associate Partner of UN-Habitat under the World Urban Campaign. And also maintaining a museum for creating awareness on Pulicat Lagoon at Pazhaverkadu, Tamilnadu. His work was displayed in World Expo South Korea. Research-papers and posters are published regularly in international and national journals.
Completed architecture degree from the School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, Chennai, and MBA from Lancaster University Management School, UK. His architecture practice has experience in handling large-scale projects around the country including Kudankulam Nuclear Power Corporation Township Master Planning, SRM University Campus, SRM Public School, Dalmia Cement Township Kadapa & Ariyalur, CDAC IT-Park, TRIL Info Tech Park, IIT-M National Centre for Combustion, ISRO Liaison Office. Etc.
He is a member of ICOMOS-India, IUNC-CEM South Asia, and COA Life Member of BNHS, YMCA, and Photographic Society of India. Received Fellowships from Erasmus University, The Netherlands; Tsukuba University, Japan; and, Vietnam National University.
